ABOUT US
Evergreen Community School is a private,non-profit school in Santa Monica, California.
Our school is comprised of 60 students between the ages of 2.5 and 5.5. There are three classrooms, each facilitated by a team of three co-teachers.
We have designed an environment that encourages children to freely and creatively manipulate objects and ideas, our design choices emerging from our constructivist perspective.
ADMISSIONS & TOURS
FALL 2020: Currently we have openings for the current 2020-21 school year for ages 2 years, 6 months and older. If you wish apply for the current school year, please get in touch with us .
For 2021-22 school year: Our program begins in September ends in June. We accept applications throughout the year. Please note that both parents must attend a school tour in order to be considered for admissions. Applicants will be contacted in November-December for an meeting with the director. They will be then be notified in the spring regarding their child’s admission status for the 2021-22 school year.

EDUCATORS
We regularly host tours, conferences and international delegations at low cost to the visiting party. The dialogues we have with educators outside our community serve to deepen our understanding of our own work as well as theirs. And our interaction as professionals with uniquely strong common interests leads to the establishment of a community network within which educators can learn and grow.
